Love Affair
with God
I am my beloved; and His desire is toward me

The
love of my life is always there for me.
He is gentle and kind - watching my every move. He shares my laughter, my tears and my
joy. He offers me his entire kingdom. He
showers me with gifts untold.
She
gives me serenity in the midst of confusion.
She is my comforter. She
understands my mood changes. She caresses and nurtures me through it all. Always whispering gently "Be still and
know that I am here within".
He
carries me when I stumble. He clears my
path relentlessly 'lest I dash my foot upon a stone'.
My
God loves me....
And
yes, oh yes, I love my God.
She
waits patiently for me to return home whenever I venture away. She prepares a
feast in my absence knowing that soon I will return.
He
knows all things about me. My deepest
secrets we share. He loves me regardless
of what I do or say. He allows me to
grow in my own unique individualized way.
He
teaches me wisdom. She teaches me compassion.
He guides me into right action.
She accepts and loves me unconditionally - every minute of every hour of
every day. He is my Wholeness, my
Completeness and my Perfection. She is
the Essence of my being.
This
month, I choose to experience the full magnitude of God's love. I know that God loves me even more than I
could possibly imagine. His gifts to me
are timeless and forever. I need only to
say, "YES” and open my heart to receive. God loves me and I love God... forever and
ever more.
And so it is.
